2026-27 Season: Override

Our Teams

In the 2026-27 season, we will have two teams competing in the VEX Robotics Competition: 11230A and 11230B, while keeping a non-competing recreational team for junior members.

Our Goals for This Season

We have set ambitious targets for this upcoming season to elevate our competitive edge, technical infrastructure, and long-term sustainability:

  • Competitive Excellence: Both competitive teams are aiming to qualify for Provincials or higher.
  • Technical Independence: We are acquiring a dedicated competition field to accelerate our development of autonomous routines without relying on external facilities.
  • Long-Term Growth: We are establishing a new recreational team to foster talent and ensure the program's sustainability for future seasons.

Override Costs

  • Robotics Hardware: With the season's 55W drive limit, we rely on efficient 5.5W motors and expensive sensors like AI Vision and distance sensors to execute the precise autonomous routines required to win.
  • Official Field & Simulation Infrastructure: We acquire official game kits to build a practice field, allowing us to test and refine our robot’s performance in an exact replica of the competition environment.
  • Registration & Global Logistics: We manage substantial costs for competition fees, equipment shipping, and travel to represent our school at regional, national, and international championships.
  • Precision Workshop Tools: We invest in rapid-prototyping equipment and specialized repair tools to iterate on our designs quickly and maintain mechanical reliability throughout the long season.
